Job Requirements: On behalf of our client we are looking for an IT savvy individual who will thrive in an entrepreneur environment. The right individual will be highly motivated and a self-starter who possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as problem solving skills. The candidate should also be flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and possess a high level of time-management skills to allow for preparation as well as travel time. Experience working with computers in a business environment and proficiency with computerized accounting systems.

We are looking for an individual to develop relationships with clients, determine their business needs and make recommendations for accounting software. Follow up training, problem solving and consistent customer service is a must.

Position Description:

  • Ability to build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients
  • Support clients with the migration of their accounting systems / Sage Simply Accounting, BusinessVision, or Accpac ERP
  • Train new users in Sage Simply Accounting, BusinessVision, or Accpac ERP
  • Apply analytical skills to resolve problems and deliver viable solutions to team members and clients
  • Understand clients work practices and nature of their business
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and team
  • Prepare, present and maintain schedules, deadlines and progress reports to management and clients

Position Requirements:

  • Experience using Sage Simply Accounting, BusinessVision and Accpac ERP is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills
  • Detail oriented, self disciplined and a self-starter
  • Flexible and creative
  • Solutions oriented
  • Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
