Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Meeting existing clients’ needs, including quotations, premium
  • Client inquiries, taking claims and renewals
  • Prepare and monitor insurance submission, proposals and summaries of insurance
  • Check policies, endorsements and other related documentation for accuracy
  • Monitor the processing of binders, certificates, billings and filing
  • Receive, sort and process mail for producers
  • Marketing of business to new and existing clients
  • Follow-up with clients to ensure premium collections are in on a timely basis
  • Other related duties as required

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Personal Lines
  • RIBO License
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with a team
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • CAIB or CIP Designation (or working towards)
  • Working knowledge of The Agency Manager System
  • Working proficiency in Compu-quote rating system
  • Knowledge of MS Office products
Knowledge of Policy Works Commercial System

Job Requirements:
  • Gather shipment information from respective Order Desks.
  • Prepare daily outbound shipment information into appropriate system.
  • Book delivery appointment as required.
  • Day to day communication with other transport members.
  • Research delivery status as requested by operations team and clients.
  • Act as backup for carrier invoice audits and enter information in Creative System so invoices can be approved for payment.
  • Perform related clerical duties as required.

Job Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Other duties may be assigned.
  • Handles inbound sales calls and inquiries.
  • Presents to all customers the cycle requirements determined by the Sales and Marketing Departments.
  • Emphasizes salable features, and quotes prices.
  • Prepares sales orders for orders obtained and enters the orders into the AS400 system.
  • Processes any authorized credits for accounts through the AS400 system.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Builds and maintains customers relationships.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Works with outside sales representatives in providing the highest level of proactive customer service to all accounts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems.
  • Participates with the occasional trade show.

Qualification

  • Bilingual in French and English (for Bilingual position)
  • Proven successful history of Customer Service
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Knowledge of an AS400 system is an asset
  • A strong team player
  • Excellent conflict mediation skills
